Happy Birthday, Grayson!

I am the mom of a 7 year old! How did that happen? Grayson is an awesome big brother, friend, student, grandson, cousin, nephew, and of course, son. It has been a privilege to watch (and help) him grow into the boy he is becoming. His love for Jesus is a joy to see. And, his heart for others to know Him is inspiring. We love you, Grayson!

Grayson's birthday was Thursday, the 12th...

We met his cousin, Gracie and our some friends (who didn't make the picture) at Burger King. They all had so much fun playing!

When Daddy got home he opened gifts...he had been waiting all day!

His choice for dinner was Chipotle (no argument from me...my favorite!). I forgot to picture. :(
We came back home for cheesecake...

Tonight (Saturday) we had a few friends and family over for a fun football themed party. We ate chicken nuggets and french fries, and big pickles.

Then Grayson opened some great gifts,

while we watched.

I found a fun idea for dessert...they are cupcakes, cut in half with a brownie and frosting in the middle. And, sugar cookie "fries" on the side. A bit time consuming, but so much fun! Much thanks to my mom for helping me with the final touches today!
