Imaginations, Shades and Healing

Yesterday Grayson and Tate had so much fun together! They played in the basement for the better part of the morning. From upstairs I heard...

-a basketball game (hence the Shockers gear in the pictures below)
-some "swimming" (minus the shirts) on the couch
-two boys going to "work"
-some pets being taken care of and given naps!
-Grayson encouraging Tate that he didn't have to be afraid to be alone downstairs because God is always with him :)
-Then Grayson coming to the top of the stairs and pretending to be God, in heaven while Tate was a person on earth - "See, you can still see me!" he said.
-at some point they came upstairs and wanted to help me fold laundry. Grayson learned how to fold pants and towels - he did a great job! Tate was in charge of finding all the socks and underwear and putting them in the right piles - he did great too!

In the afternoon we had fun with their new shades...

I was really suprised by how much Reed liked his!

We saw the burn specialist this morning. Tate and I got to make the trip just the two of us - thank you Grandma B! He says it looks good! We can leave the wrap off of it for a while now - as long as Tate can stand it. We had a movie night tonight so he would be distracted and not have to worry about using it while we let it air out a bit tonight. We also trimmed some of the blister back that had popped last Friday on his palm. That was tough, but Tate did awesome. Please keep praying that there would be minimal scarring. Next week will hopefully be our last trip to the "burned doctor," as Tate said this morning.

That's so great that they played together for so long! I love the pictures...they look like best buddies. :) So glad that Tate's hand is getting better too.
